Design Consultation

Service Description

A conversation about your needs, timeline, and budget in order to design you a bespoke gown or dress! This is a delicate and consuming project, but a very exciting ordeal! Our first appointment will be a sit down discussion about your event and design tastes, opinion, and vision. This includes lots of note-taking, fabric selection, a few quick sketches to perfect the vision, and extensive measurements. The process will also include multiple fittings and pictures or videos being taken to guide the process**. For this appointment, there are a few things to keep in mind - - I recommend booking a design consultation 6-8 months before the event. A robe will be provided at the consultation for accurate measurements. - Bring inspiration! Any pictures or physical items you can provide of silhouettes, styles, colours, or fabrics you love will help immensely. - Inspirations only. I do not design exact 'dupes' of garments, as this goes against my ethos as a designer and business owner. - Providing the theme, season/month and venue of your event will be helpful as well. - If you are unsure of what you'd like, I invite you to do a little dress shopping. This may seem counterintuitive, but very often an idea we love in our heads looks different on the body. It's important to know what looks good on us as well as what we like. I recommend starting at Kind Bridal boutique if you're unsure where to look! There is no fee required for booking! If you need to reschedule, please contact me directly. **All pictures and videos taken will be used solely for reference in the studio for my eyes only. I will obtain written permission from you before using media with your face and garment on socials and my website.**

Cancellation Policy

Because of the nature of my work, I'm afraid I cannot offer any refunds or cancellations after completion of services. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, or have concerns about price after payments have been processed, please reach out directly to me, and I will respond as soon as I can.
