I am the owner and sole seamstress of Rhiannon Lawrence.

I have been sewing professionally for just shy of a decade and have been active in bridal alterations since moving to Halifax in early 2019. Through my work in bridalwear, I have met so many amazing industry professionals and have gained incredible insight into the wedding industry, the searching processes, and the fashions that surround us all.
​
Within my journey in the alterations side of the industry, I have discovered many ways the bridal world shines – from the endless possibilities in finding wedding themes and palettes, to the final personal touches added to the gowns and decorations, not to mention the supportive wedding parties following the adventure closely. As an alteration specialist, the part of wedding planning I am closest to, of course, is the bridal appointment when you find The One – and the small nips and tucks needed to make it absolutely perfect.

My mission for Rhiannon Lawrence is to guide you painlessly through the process of altering, customizing, and perfecting your garment. My specialty is in wedding gowns of course, but I offer the same level of love, care, and expertise to your bridesmaid dress, gala gown, homecoming and prom dress, or any formal wear for those unforgettable events.

With open communication, multiple fittings, and high attention to detail, my goal and only desire is to make your dress a flawless reality.
I also have officially begun the extended launch of my online store! Over the course of the next few months, I will be releasing new accessories, robes, garments, and other fun additions. These are all designed, draped, patterned, and handmade by me in my studio!
